Popups no longer appearing

    On the page, there is a text link near the bottom which reads:

    Instructions for Online Donation

    The HTML on this link looks like this:
    <a href="#" class="popmake-7618">Instructions for Online Donation</a>

    Previously, when clicking on this link, I got a popup of a block of text explaining the procedure for making an online donation.

    Now, when clicking on this link, the page is refreshed but there is no popup appearing.

    I must confess I don’t know exactly when I last tested this particular popup. Perhaps 2 or 3 weeks ago.

    I have tested other popups on the same website and none of them are working. The behaviour of all of them is exactly the same, that is, no popup appears and the page is refreshed.

    Thank you for reaching out, and we’re sorry the popup is not showing when clicking the text link.

    I checked the page https://www.hayagriva.org.au/about/donations, but I did not replicate the issue. The popup displayed properly. Here’s what we get:

    We think you might need to clear your caches and test on a browser with no extensions.

    Can you try the following for us?

    1. Clear out any browser, WordPress, server, database, and CDN caches you have.
    2. Retest using a private or incognito window with no active browser extensions.

    The problem was solved by clearing the cache on Chrome but not on Firefox. I had to clear the cache and “refresh” (re-install) Firefox before it started to work on Firefox. All good now. Many thanks for the timely and thorough response. 5 stars
