Popups not opening after ugrade to 1.1.6

    After plugin upgrade to version 1.1.6 no popups appear after clicking an icon. Maps itself moves a bit so as to give place to a popup though.

    Problem checked on Firefox, Chrome and Safari on multiple Mac computers.
    Works OK with previous version 1.1.5

    I think it may be something with CSS and my messing with “z-index” property so as to make a workaround of and error when page menu hid itself under Supsystic map. But I rolled the changes back since then.

    Maybe the reason is the Newspaper wordpress theme ( https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 ). Quite advanced and unfortunately a bit hard to comprehend.

    Anyway, what changed for us with upgrade from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6
    1. Map/menu overlay error fixed ??
    2. Icons problem introduced.

    So maybe the change can be traced looking through changes between both map plugin versions. Looks like a hint for me also.

    OK, this is strange but I’ve got a working fix for my situation:

    1. Edit map details.
    2. Temporarily change “Map Type” setting to a different one and save map.
    3. Return to previous “Map Type” and again save map settings.
    4. Icon popups work again.

    I have two maps on my site and both of them separately required that action.
    Maybe some caching interferred? I use Cloudflare and LiteSpeed Cache plugin.

    Well, strange but it worked.

    PS (update): And… now I’m stuck with “Show marker description by hover” option (which doesn’t cope well with our map on https://kurcgalopkiem.pl/mapa-gdzie-pojechac/ ).
    When this option is unchecked icon popups don’t work. I can’t use good old open-on-click feature?
