  • Dear @leojez ,

We checked the case and saw that you were using the very old version of the plugin and now you are switched to the newest version, but the popup Ids remain the old ones.
We can see that the popups are set with shortcodes and their Ids are 2,3 and 4.
So please, change the Ids inside your shortcode into 7683, 7684 and 7685.

Let us know if this helps.

Thank you so much for helping!

Sorry, I am still struggling. The code at the bottom of each page in WP is:

    [sg_popup id=”2″]<span id=”gg2″ style=”display: none;”>Pop-up link for regular membership</span>[/sg_popup]
    [sg_popup id=”3″]<span id=”gg3″ style=”display: none;”>Pop-up link for premium membership</span>[/sg_popup]
    [sg_popup id=”4″]<span id=”gg4″ style=”display: none;”>Pop-up link for premium membership</span>[/sg_popup]

    I’ve tried changing it to:

    [sg_popup id=”7683″]<span id=”gg2″ style=”display: none;”>Pop-up link for regular membership</span>[/sg_popup]
    [sg_popup id=”7684″]<span id=”gg3″ style=”display: none;”>Pop-up link for premium membership</span>[/sg_popup]
    [sg_popup id=”7685″]<span id=”gg4″ style=”display: none;”>Pop-up link for premium membership</span>[/sg_popup]

    on this page: https://eslteenstuff.com/lessons-level-elementary-a1-1-a2/

But it still isn’t working. I’ve also tried changing the “span id=”gg2” values as well,l but that doesn’t seem to work.

I guess I must be looking in the wrong place. Your help is much appreciated.

    Dear @leojez ,

    Thanks for replaying!
Can you, please, delete the style=”display: none; part from the code?
Please, let us know if that helped.

    Hi thanks for replying.

Unfortunately, the popup still doesn’t work. This is the code now at the bottom of https://eslteenstuff.com/lessons-level-elementary-a1-1-a2/

    [sg_popup id=”7683″]<span id=”gg2″>Pop-up link for regular membership</span>[/sg_popup]
    [sg_popup id=”7684″]<span id=”gg3″>Pop-up link for premium membership</span>[/sg_popup]
    [sg_popup id=”7685″]<span id=”gg4″>Pop-up link for premium membership</span>[/sg_popup]

    Any more ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I had to get a developer to look into the issue. He found the issue was a javascript issue in your popup builder. He fixed the issue and gave the following details:

It gave an error “Undefined variable originalEvent” in popbuilder.js file. I have changed it to e.currentTarget

    Here is a screen shot:

Could you please fix this in your plugin and let me know when the update is ready?

    Thank you.

Hi, I just updated the plugin but the same issue happens again – the popup doesn’t work at all. So I have reverted back to our fixed version of your plugin.

Would it help if I sent you our fixed plugin files?

    Thanks,
    Jeremy
