    Hello,

I’m using the plugin and I love it, but I’ve had to disable the popups, first on mobile and now on desktop.

I’ve been reading a bit of the support threads to see if anyone else has my problem, but I haven’t found anything. Based on what you reply to some of them, the only thing I can think of is that it could be due to a compatibility issue with WP Rocket and its minify functions.

I’m attaching a video of how it looks on mobile and how it should look. On desktop I sometimes have the same problem. It didn’t appear to me, but when my partner had to go to the blog to look for an info, it appeared the same way it appeared to me on mobile and, then, I had to deactivate them (which I don’t like because we are in Black Friday and I would like the pop up to work correctly). I also noticed that it did not comply with what I established in terms of times. If I closed it, it would pop up again shortly after, even though I had set it not to pop up again.

Can you think of anything about why this might be happening? I have installed the plugin two weeks ago, and I am planning to use it more.

    Thank you!

PS: now, as I said, I don’t have them on the blog activated. If you need me to do it to get you in, ok, but I can’t leave it on for too long because it’s not a good user experience.

@rayuela1 Can you please create a test page, and published the popup on that test page only and then share the page link here?

    Thanks

Hi, I can’t do a test page right now. I activated a pop up I have in one category (Uzbekistan – in the Spanish website). You can see an example here: Cómo visitar el Mar Aral y Moynaq en Uzbekistán (rutadelmate.com). Or you can navigate through any of UZB posts. On mobile, you will see the pop up is at the bottom. thank you!

Just checked the page and it looks like the necessary css file is not being loaded. Your cache plugin is probably combining all your plugin’s css files which is breaking the Brave plugin. Try disabling the css minification and combine option from your cache plugins’ settings page and then clear the cache and see if that fixes the issue.

Hi! I tried disabling the CSS Minification and JS Minification from WP Rocket… and the problem still appears. I tried also to include these “exceptions” just in case… but nothing worked:

    wp-content/plugins/brave-popup-builder/assets/css/admin.min.css
    wp-content/plugins/brave-popup-builder/assets/css/frontend.min.css
    wp-content/plugins/brave-popup-builder/assets/css/woocommerce.min.css
    wp-content/plugins/brave-popup-builder/assets/css/wp_posts.min.css

Also, I tried to deactivate WPROCKET but instead they gave me the option to set a Safe Mode (and they uncheck ALL the options in lazyload an minification possible) and the problem is fixed… now… how can I do to make the plugin work with those settings included?

I will pause the popup now…

Did you try disabling all the minification options of wprocket instead of disabling it? Note that, you will have to clear the cache after changing the settings each time.

Hi, sorry the delay. Yes, If I disable everything under File Optimization, it works ok.

Can you please enable the options under the File Optimization section one by one and see which option causes the issue?

Hi, I think the problem might be in the second Option under CSS Files:

Optimize CSS delivery eliminates render-blocking CSS on your website. Only one method can be selected. Remove Unused CSS is recommended for optimal performance”.

Now is the only option I have deactivated and the pop up seems to work ok. Take a look.

But, is it possible to make it work with this option activated?

That option should not cause the issue becuase the render blocking css are css that are loaded inside Header. Brave inserts css in footer, so it’s css is not render blocking. Can you please ask the wp-rocket guys about this?
