There seems to be an issue with the popups not working with WP Rocket installed.

They work sometimes, but most of the time when you click on a link that should open up a popup, it just directs you back to the top of the page.

Is there anyway to fix this issue?

    This is still an issue.

    Hi @critzsites

Thanks for reporting this issue. We could replicate that issue and will include a fix for this in the next plugin update, with release date in the coming 3-5 days.

Background: WP Rocket re-arranges the JavaScript on your website. This is usually a good thing, but in some cases it causes issues. Those problems happen, because our plugin has two scripts: A tiny script, that must be loaded first, and a bigger file that contains all plugin logic.

WP Rocket ignores that loading order, and often loads the bigger file first, and as a result, our plugin does not work.

The next plugin update contains a WP Rocket integration to tell WP Rocket to not move the first (tiny) script.

If you still have problems after updating to Popups for Divi 3.0 (which is the next version), please reach out again via divimode.com/get-support and share your website URL with us.

Thanks again, and happy popup-ing! Philipp ??

Hi @strackerphil-1 I have WP Rocket and I updated Popups Divi to 3.0.1 and still not working. You can try it on the first button that appears on my website: https://quierounadieta.com/

How can I fix it? Thank you!

Thanks for sharing the URL @joanplanas

I’ve had a look at the website and everything works fine from the “Popup perspective”: The scripts are loaded in correct order and the Popup opens when I click on the red button.

BUT the Popup only contains a single, empty div, and therefore only the close button is visible.

That empty div container is possibly a placeholder for a dynamically loaded content block. Unfortunately, there are some limitations when using dynamic content inside Popups. Note that “dynamic” means, that the form has some JavaScript logic. You can find more information on the problem and possible solutions in our knowledge base article here: https://help.divimode.com/article/421-dynamic-content-in-free-popup

I hope this helps you to solve the issue – generally, you have three options:

    1. Do not use that survey form inside a Popup
    2. Upgrade to Divi Areas Pro
    3. Convert the survey JS to run during the "show_area" action, as showcased in the knowledge base article above.

Thanks, and happy Popup-ing ?? Philipp

    @strackerphil-1 thanks for your repsonse!

Unfortunately, I am still getting the same issue even after updating the plugin to the latest version (3.0.1).

You check on our website homepage here: https://readingprograms.org/

And going to the highlighted link in blue “university partners nationwide”.

When clicked, instead of opening up the popup, it just brings you to the top of the page.

    Hey guys,

I’m having the same issue unfortunately @strackerphil-1.

Is there any hotfix or quick solution for this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers,
    Aron
