Popups Working but no data on Opens or Conversions

    Hello –
    Great plugin, we just started using it selectively on our ilsr.org website.

    Since we launched our first popup a week ago, we see only 0 opens and 0 conversions in the popup table in the WP Dashboard. Do you know why the tracking doesn’t seem to be working? We get a lot of traffic. And we also had numerous staff members try it out (it’s set to only appear once per month for users that visit certain posts on our site) so it certainly has been “opened” more than 0 times.

    Any help or suggestions on getting the Opens/Conversions data flowing would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I just inspected your site URL ‘islr.org’ in my browser, and I don’t see the Popup Maker plugin activated on your site.

    Let’s start at the beginning.

    Please log into your site Admin, go to ‘Plugins’ and check that the plugin is installed and activated.

    If activated, please be sure to run the latest version, 1.7.14.

    Once that’s done, contact us again and we’ll talk. ??

    Ha, it looks like you may have went to the wrong site, our web site address is ilsr.org not islr

    @johnilsr – Just want to confirm this is still an issue. First I will point out the free version doesn’t contain any conversion tracking, not sure where you saw that.

    That said there are options in the PM settings to disable analytics tracking globally of for specific user roles, be sure you didn’t check those.

    Hi Danieliser –
    Yeah, I get that conversions tracking is a paid extension but I thought based on the information here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/popup-maker/ that I’d still get some information on the number of Opens in the free version. At the very bottom of the list of what’s included for Free it says, “Stat tracking: Popup Opens Count.”

    We’ve used two different pop-ups so far and when I’m in the WP dashboard showing all of my Popups listed, the column labeled Opens is always zero for each of them.

    And I don’t see any PM settings that I can set related to specific user roles/GA tracking, maybe those are in the paid version?? We’re just using the free version for now.
