    Deleted within 5 minutes. This plugin nags you with a popup incessantly. Even after succumbing to the nagging popup and providing my email address. There it was begging for more with every, single, pageload.

    Not worth the annoyance. Done, deleted, moving on.

    Hi mecopress,

    Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our plugin. The alert has a dismiss button that you should have been able to use to close it. If the alert did not go away when you entered your email address, or when you tried to dismiss it, that means Wordfence was not properly installed. Judging by your description of the issue, it sounds like Wordfence was not able to write to it’s database tables. This could be due to insufficient database privileges. We offer support here in the forum for users of the free Wordfence plugin and encourage anyone experiencing issues like this to post a thread there for assistance.
