Portal Homepage

  • I am helping to update my employers intranet and we are looking the homepage. I have searched the internet for inspiration and come across this site Etch Apps

    We love the simplicity of it and want to create something similar. Could someone point me in the direction of a theme/plugin that would create a grid like system on the homepage. It doesn’t have to be dynamic like the Etch website, it’s mainly the look and feel.

    The main use of the homepage is to act like a portal to the 12 areas of our intranet. If anyone has any other portal style sites/plugins that they could recommend that would be great.

    I have a basic understanding of WordPress and am unsure of where to turn!

  • Well, we offer 24 plugins and all we do is intranets. We have 3 layouts for employees, grid, list or tile views and often clients put that employee directory on the homepage as their main layout, using the 2016 default theme for example. Visit simpleintranet.org if interested.
