    Hi again.
    I have two problems on portfolio pages:

    1- When I click on the image (post portfolio) and then on the “grid” square button, the site goes to home page and not for the portfolio page. It is normal?

    2- When I click on the image (post portfolio), and then on the arrow button to go forward, the images that appear are from all the portfolio pages and not only the portfolio page in question . It’s supposed to be like ?

    And another question:
    3- Can I have more than one “home page”?

    Many thanks and sorry for the issues , but I’m new in wordpress..

  • 1. No, it means you haven’t set the “portfolio” page in your theme options > misc settings.

    2. Yes, It’s a navigation to other portfolio posts.

    3. No, but it doesn’t really make sense to, can you explain what your wanting to do then I can better answer.

    Hi!
    Thanks for your help and sorry for the basic questions…

    1- No, because I don′t want my portfolio pages to be home page.. so, how I resolve this problem?

    2- Can I have a navigation just on the “current” portfolio page?

    3- Sorry, but I don′t understand programation….. I need to put a image and a phrase before my homepage, and that′s why I ask you that.

    Many Thanks

    Hey,
    1. ok, yeah that is my point.. umm, ok see here: https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/portfolio/sailing/
    click on the grid. See how it takes you to the portfolio page.
    That is because in the appearance > theme options > misc settings I set the portfolio grid page.
    That is all you need to do, just navigate to appearance > theme options > misc settings and set the page.

    2. Well if your portfolio has a slider you can navigate through the images. see this: https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/portfolio/surfing-images/
    Is that what you mean?

    3. You mean like you want a landing page? with an enter here button or something? That isn’t possible with this theme sorry.

    Hi
    thanks again for you precious help!

    1- Yes, i understand that, but if i have more than one portfolio page, it only works for one of them, right? The grid page is always the same, and i would like to have one grid page separately for each portfolio page. It is possible?

    2- Yes, wuth the slider I could navigate through the images, but what i would like is, like the previous point, to have 3 portfolio independent grid pages … it is possible? Or the theme don′t support that?

    3- No.. For exemple in my home page, i want the slider (it′s ok), the icon menu (it′s ok), a home page gallery (it′s ok), and after icon menu, for example, I would like to have some text… not a landing page or link, just some text…

    Many thanks again..

    1. Ok I get it now, you want two different portfolios I didn’t get that from your questions… With the free theme there isn’t options to have separate portfolios. Premium you can, with free you can just hide those navigation features with css by adding this in your theme options > advanced settings, custom css box:

    .portfolionav {
    display: none;
    }

    2. Same ^

    3. I’m not sure I understand where the second “home page” comes in? It sounds like you want a second content area on your home page. Since you haven’t posted a link I can’t check but I’m guessing your using the page content already. And in the free theme there isn’t options for a second area. With premium you can use a widget area, along with other things but with free there isn’t that option.

    1 /2 – Ok, thanks !

    3- Yes, in really I think that is a second area (I called it second page because i didn′t know how to do it or call it…). the site is https://www.mfdesign.pt

    thanks!

    3. You can move “page title” to disabled in the theme options > home layout.

    Then in your font page content just add in a title, and above that whatever text you want. That way it’s all above the gallery.
