Portfolio All View and Category View is weird

  • I am currently using the free version of this plugin. I have problem with the display of all the portfolio. As there are weird (big) gaps in between each project. Is there a way to mitigate this issue? I have tried inserting and editing the shortcode using the HTML Editor of the portfolio page. But nothing seems to work. Please help, thank you so much.

    I have used your proposed solution and checked for pre and code tags in your portfolio shortcode. But I do not see any of such tags in the page where I put the portfolio in.
