Portfolio as part of User Profile

Hi there!

This seems like a great plugin, and I hope I can use it in my site which is register-based.
I’m currently researching the best way to create user profiles which also have the option of uploading moviefiles, images, and audio-files into their personal portfolio.

So my question is; Can I use this plugin as a “private” user-portfolio, and if so; what is the best way to create the userprofile to integrate the plugin in the best way possible?

A second question just hit me so, I throw it in here as well:

Could this portfolio-plugin be used to display search-results?
Picture this:
I create an advanced search-form containing numerous radio-buttons which are predifined categories, e.g job-titles. The users must check one of these when registered. I then use the same categories (and sub-categories) to define the portfolio-items for this plugin, and display the portfolio on the search-result page.
When a visitor search my site by checking the “actor”, “stage”, and “male” radiobutton on the search-form, all my registered users who are a actors will appear in the “Actor”-item (category), and the male stage-actors is shown when opening this portfolio-item?
