Portfolio doesn't appear in front page

    Hi, I want to show my portfolio in the front-page of my site. If I create a new page and put the code [wp-portfolio], when I access that page I can see everything allright.

    But as soon as I select that page as my static front page (Admin -> Settings -> Reading), the Portfolio dissapears. Any ideas?

    That’s a really odd issue. Try a different theme (briefly) to see if that works. Then that will determine if it’s something to do with the theme, or a bug with the plugin.

    Of course, I feel stupid for not thinking about it. I forgot I’m using a theme that is optimised to use as a… Portfolio! And it puts them in the index. That’s why I couldn’t see anything with wp-portfolio… as soon as I changed themes it worked.

    fyi, the theme is this one (although it doesn’t work right now).
