Portfolio external link

I’m using the Powerfolio (portfolio for elementor) plugin and it’s great. There’s just one thing – is there a possibility to change the link of the Project Item to an external URL?

Currently I have the options to link each project to an image (Powerfolio lightbox or Elementor default lightbox) or a Projects Details Page. As this portfolio is to display my published articles, it would be much more useful if I can link each item to an external link. Is this possible?

I have the free version at the moment and would be happy to upgrade to Pro if this feature were available there as I really need a portfolio that links externally for each item. Is there any way I can add external links to each item rather than a link to an image or extra page?
