• Is it possible to set up a portfolio post with a side-by-side single image with description on the top of the page with more images and description as you scroll lower? Should I just use “None” for project options and set this up with columns?

  • Hey,

I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re wanting to achieve. Can you link to an example of a similar configuration?

It does sound like using the “none” option and setting this up in page builder is likely your best option though.

I set it up something like this: https://www.signaturecreative.com/#/project/fankit
without the js fun. A single image and text description at the top, scrolling down for more sections with larger pictures. It would be cool with fade-ins though.

The image slider and carousel don’t work well for very large photos of screenshots.

If there’s a way to stop the image slider from automatically rotating, I’d be interested to know how.

Your best bet is going to be through use of a page builder to build the layout you want for the post content. It should be relatively simple to get the sectioned page layout with whatever page builder you want to use.

As for the slider, there is no option within the free theme that will allow for a fullwidth/height slider like that one. With the premium, you could do it with the Kadence Slider. There’s probably free other plugin options out there for fullwidth sliders though.

    Hopefully this is helpful!

    Okay, thanks!

Do you know if it is possible to add the portfolio categories as links at the top of the portfolio home page?

    Hey @seenorimagined,
The premium version of Ascend has a function for this, but not the free. Sorry!
