Hi, I didn’t put any link, because I’m working locally (with Local) and I’m using Twentig with theme Twenty-Twentyfour. I also imported content from my ‘old’ website, still running online.

Now if I go to > Portfolio > all projects I can see them all, I can also edit them, but I cannot view any of them. Also from the portfolio grid block on my “projects” page no link is working. Everything leads to a “page not found”.

Secondly, I cannot find any google font section within the settings of the plugin, as you say in an already closed topic about styles menus not showing.

I hope you can help, the plugin is nice, but it must work to go online ??

    Bests, Roberta

    Hi Roberta,

Concerning the “Page not found” issue for the portfolio, it seems you need to refresh the WordPress permalinks. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Settings > Permalinks.
    2. Click the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom.
    3. Visit your projects on the front-end; they should be visible now.

Regarding the Google Fonts, we’ve deprecated this feature from our plugin as WordPress now includes a Font Library feature that allows you to use any Google Font or upload a local font. You can learn more about this through this YouTube video

Please let me know if you still encounter any issues.

    Have a nice day,
    Yann

    Hi Yann,

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately, this solution doesn’t work. I already tried that out yesterday (as I was trying EVERYTHING out) and did it just now again, this time also changing my choice, saving, than changing back to the used one and saving again.

As for the fonts, thank you very much for the link!

    Any other solution?

    Bests, Roberta

Hi, just to close the topic on my side in case anyone else has the same problem, although I’m not sure exactly what happened.

Since the portfolio projects weren’t showing up in the backend, I tried disabling Twentig and installing and enabling Jetpack, which also has a portfolio option. My projects disappeared in the backend as well. So I deactivated Jetpack, reactivated Twentig – and suddenly everything was where it should have been in the first place.

At the same time, some of the problems I had with saving or assigning new templates or template parts to specific pages also disappeared. I don’t know how, as I didn’t change anything there, but I’m glad it works now.

    Hi Roberta,

Thanks for the heads-up. I’m not sure what caused the issue, but I’m glad it works now.

    Have a nice weekend,
    Yann
