Portfolio theme with hover image change

  • Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good themes, free or premium where the portfolio images show an image and when you hover over the image it changes the image.

    The reason being, I’m trying to build my portfolio site and I want all my portfolio images to be in black and white then when a user hovers over the image, it changes to colour…

    Does anyone know of any themes that have this feature or if there is any easy way to do it in WordPress?

  • Hey James! I’ve got a free theme, Charmed with a “Pro” big-brother, Charmed Pro – both of which have that feature.

    You could also use some clever CSS to get one image to start with a grayscale color scheme, then hover to color.

    Hi Rich, thanks for your reply, never seen that theme I really like it!

    I was actually using a theme I always use for a client then came across the feature I needed from installing the demo content so I’m very happy indeed, can’t believe I didn’t know this theme could do that before.
