Portfolio with Avada theme

    I’ve been working with Avada from Theme Fusion but have problem with portfolio options.

    a) When I make portfolio post and publish it, it won’t appear on my portfolio page – even the categories I used in the post appear as filter but no content is found on portfolio page.

    b) I’ve created portfolio page and like to show it in the menu but it won’t appear even it’s fully published.

    Do anyone know how to fix these problems?

  • I would check with Avada support for these questions. I’ve had some fairly good help from them.

    Problem a) was fixed with adding featured picture to portfolio post.

    I’m having the same issue, and I added a featured picture…. but now it is ONLY showing the featured picture and nothing else. Any idea how to get the rest of the portfolio images to show?

    I really wish there were more tutorials for the AVADA theme online. I want to see someone build a site from the bottom up using the AVADA theme.

    The best thing I figured out while I was trying out Avada is that the properties in WordPress have little to say, if the Avada feature are supposed to appear it have to be added with Avada properties.

    @BreannaBaker.com – have you asked the developer about this? Support here for commercial themes is quite limited to general WP help – as we don’t know how commercial themes are set up, so really have no way to help.

    Support (and documentation) should be part of what you pay for, so you should be getting the help you need from the developer.

    My site Ebb&Float, which has been created using the Avada theme, seems to have a few problems with some of the features.
    Firstly, the permalinks on my URL are not visible on the different pages of my web. For instance, instead of “About Us”, the text “?page_id=30” is what appears on the page. Additionally, when I try to change this on my dashboard to the post name, I get a response saying the page cannot be found.
    Secondly, on the portfolio page, which has a list of my products listed in four columns, the last post is misplaced. The post should appear on page one, where there is room for it, but at the moment, it’s located on page two.
    I do not understand what the problem could be, and I was hoping you might know and help me get a solution to this.
