POS Barcode Support

    The Barcode functionality is built into the POS plugin.

    The first step is connecting a Barcode reader. After the Barcode reader is connected to your computer. On the search bar, we have an option for Barcodes. Select the Barcode drop down option, click the cursor in the search field. Use the Barcode scanner to scan the Barcode. The Barcode numbers will be entered into the search field.

    For the POS, we map the Barcode number to the SKU number for the product in WooCommerce as the Barcode number. Make sure the Barcode number and SKU number for the Product match for Barcode product results to display in the POS.

    The POS Barcode support has been successfully tested with Mac, Windows and Chromebook devices and browsers Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. We also released an Android app, the app provides the Barcode functionality using the Camera of the device, you can download the app for free on the Google Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpf.bizswooppos2

    The POS supports the following Barcode types:

    One-Dimensional (1D)
    UPC: UPC-A, UPC-E
    EAN: EAN-13, EAN-8, JAN-13, ISBN, ISSN
    Code 39
    Code 128
    Code 93
    ITF (Encode 14 numeric digits and use the full ASCII set)
    Codeabar, Ames Code, NW-7, Monarch, Code 2 of 7, Rationalized Codabar, ANSI/AIM BC3-1995, USD-4
    GS1 Databar
    MSI Plessey

    Two-Dimensional (2D)
    QR Code
    Datamatrix Code, Micro-Datamatrix

    Aztec
