Position of the event bar

Hello!
I’ve placed the event bar in the sidebar of my web using a code. Anyway, in the settings page I have choose between showing it ‘After the content’ or ‘Before’ it. I would like not show it neither before or after, because I’m already placing the bar in the sidebar. How could I hide it?

This also creates another problem: If I pick the map option in the event bar placed after/before my content, it activates the map of the of the sidebar. So this is completely useful…
