Position of the footnote-section

  • Is there possibly any way, to place the section of the footnotes somewhere else than the bottom of the page?

  • I am interested in too. Only as a idea, maybe using a shortcode [footnotation-response], and hook here all footer notes list.

    Contact form 7 does this with [response] to play with the position of the validation message.

    Seconded. I really need this. There are tons of themes that utilize drag/drop editors and display copy in columns in less cookie-cutter ways, so being able to customize the output location of footnotes is essential.

    Is this possible now, even if it requires some coding?
