Positioning excerpts in external page

  • Sorry me again, I really tried to figure it out but I’ve spent hours googling and playing with it.

    I’ve managed to post 3 excerpts and pictures on my normal non-wordpress page. But they look messy..how do I style these (was thinking horizontally would be neater)? Where would I put code to apply to these posts? Are there any guides for this kind of thing?
