    Hi,

I’d like to add people to groups.
Are there any useful filters/hooks available?

Or do you think it is bulletproof to use automation with “signup source” to catch “Mailchimp for WooCommerce”?

Any hooks/filters that I can use to conditionally print the checkbox?

    Many thanks!

Automation is out of the question, that is not going to work in my case.

    Hey there @christophe83

Unfortunately the plugin only syncs Email Address, First Name, Last Name, and purchase data. There is not a built in way to add subscribers to groups. That would require some additional setup on the MailChimp side or by setting up something custom to update those newly added contacts using the MailChimp API.

MailChimp does host a directory of developers familiar working with the app that you can reach out to if you’d like more hands-on assistance, or anyone here in the developer forum is welcome to chime in with ideas.

That said, you can certainly use the Signup Source segment based on “MailChimp for WooCommerce” to update those who first joined the list via purchasing something from your store and synced via the integration.

Conditionally printing the checkbox isn’t something available right now, though you can control some default settings, as pictured here. This may be possible to accomplish using a custom setup, but regardless, I’ll pass along the feedback to our team!

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. Let me know if you have any questions.
