I have had to deactivate on the shop, but Products all have variations, inventory is controlled at a variation level.
The stock gets reduced, and added back to the inventory if the order isn’t completed, but front end the product variation still shows as out of stock.

If I deactivate and reactivate I still have the same issue

You likely have products in carts/sessions. Through the WooCommerce settings clear the sessions and see if it resolves it.

This has worked, but the sessions will have been old, how to we get around that so we arent clearing the sessions constantly and booting things out of peoples carts?

I have your plugin set to 10mins and the woocommerce Hold stock for 30mins

As long as the plugin is always running it should keep track of items in carts. If that is not the case then there could be a bug, is it happening all the time or only when you deactivate the plugin?

The plugin was running until we spotted it wasn’t working as it should, then I deactivated it. Reactivated and cleared carts as suggested which worked.
But assuming If I continue to leave active, we will continue to have the same issue again.

Ok sounds like some troubleshooting is in order.

Have you been using the plugin for a while and it just started doing this?

What version of WooCommerce and the plugin are you using?

Are there any other WooCommerce related plugins?

Is this something you can easily reproduce?

Just started using the plugin last night, the current version of woo and the plugin.

We have quite a few related plugins, none of which could be turned off at the mo, as shes in the middle of a launch. And I think I can reproduce it.
If you give me about an hour I can reproduce (just need to head out)

Since it’s a new setup, when you started using the plugin did you clear the sessions? If not then the older sessions would probably have been the issue. Those items in carts would have reduced the stock available but would never have expired, any newly added items should get the expiration timer added to their cart entries so they will expire.

No I didnt clear them, thats fab to know for other sites.
Will keep an eye on it over next few days

Kind a same problem. I have setted up it for 3 minutes (worpdress and your plugin), but after 3 min products not back in stock. Hope you find a fix fast. Very good plugin if much orders in same time with variations.

@raix022 Did you also clear out the existing sessions when you activated the plugin? This is the most common issue people have because existing items in the carts do not get expired if they were not added while the plugin is active

    OK, I try now. Thanks!

If I want add item expiration to 4 minutes, to I need write there 4 or 40? Looks like if I add there 4, its like 4 sec.

@raix022 please create a new issue for new issues. The expiration time text shows ‘Examples: 10 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day’

So for 4 minutes you would use: ‘4 minutes’
