Possible bug: All media vs images after uploading from Pixabay

  • When clicking an image inside the Pixabay Images Overview Panel the following happens.

    1. The image is uploaded to server.
    2. Page is redirected to Media Library inside the Pixabay panel.
    3. Media library is empty within Pixabay panel.

    The only way I can insert the newly uploaded Pixabay image is by following this procedure:
    4. When you click on the ‘Insert Media’ all media items are automatically seen. The newly uploaded Pixabay image does not appear.
    5. Click on dropdown (next to ‘All Dates’) and select ‘images’ and the Pixabay image appears.
    6. Select the image and then it will be inserted in post.

    It seems like something goes wrong in step 3?

    The following video demonstrates the possible bug. In this particular case I click the ‘Pixabay Images’ button above Visual Editor. Step 5+6 can be avoided in this case.

    Hmm, I cannot reproduce the issue on my end. Can anyone confirm this behavior? As it is, I don’t know why this may happen …

    Hi Simon,

    Thanks for looking into this. It may be a possible conflict with Events Manager plugin or WP Project Manager plugin. I reinstalled my website including a list of plugins but I have not yet activated these two plugins because I was concerned that one or perhaps both may cause trouble. I will need to test it further on my developer site.

    Regarding Pixabay Images – it is working well so far.
