    Howdy,

I setup a recurring event to go every Monday, starting May 7th, and ending after 8 occurrences. This made the event show up for all 4 Mondays in May and all 4 Mondays in June. Perfect.

However, I then put in an exclusion for Memorial day (May 28th).

To me, the plugin should then say Oh, I’m only now doing 7 occurrences so I should add one more at the end and go until July 2nd instead of stopping after June 25th. However, that’s not what happens. So I currently have an event set to end after 8 occurrences that’s really ending after 7 because one was excluded.

    Bug or not?

    Thanks.

  • Hi @kelemvor,

It’s not technically a bug, but the way it was programmed.

You should be able to edit the recurrence and choose the end date. Can you confirm your plugin is up to date and also that your recurrence pattern looks like this:

Yeah, I’m up to date and I can work around it easy enough. I was just pointing out that if I choose 8 occurrences and exclude one of the dates, it won’t be 8 occurrences any more even though it will stay say 8 occurrences.

I didn’t know if it’d be considered a bug or not but just passing it on.

Thanks @kelemvor, your feedback is always appreciated!
