• Hi, I’m running into a problem on a WP Multisite network. From my testing, it appears to be some sort of conflict between Page Links to and Nextgen Gallery. Here’s what I’m finding:

When trying to add a gallery to a new page or post, and then publishing, I’ll get the following error:

“The link you followed has expired”

The post doesn’t save (it creates a draft, though). If I go in to edit the draft, the gallery hasn’t been added.

I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins. If I just have Nextgen active, everything works as expected. If I activate all plugins EXCEPT Page Links To, everything works. In any case, as soon as I have Page Links To active, the error occurs.

With Page Links To active, I’m also seeing an error in the console when trying to add a Nextgen Gallery to a post (I see the error when Nextgen’s dialog window opens up):

    TypeError: u.val(...) is undefined[Learn More] quick-add.jsx:130:16
        q quick-add.jsx:130
        x quick-add.jsx:121
        [1]</< quick-add.jsx:197
        jQuery 4

We are on a version controlled site currently running WP 4.9.8, but was also able to replicate the error on a staging environment running 5.0.3.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thanks!

Just a followup on this. The issue appears to be specific to Pantheon’s hosting environment.

Creating a fresh install (even without multisite), the combination of Nextgen Gallery and Page Links To still causes problems. The fresh install is running WP 5.1 and is using the Twenty Nineteen theme.

About the only difference in behavior is that, instead producing “The link you followed has expired” error message, I am just logged out of the site.

Not sure if perhaps something is messing with the login session?
