I’m getting two errors on every post:

Possible conflict detected — your theme or another plugin is adding a link rel=”author” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

Possible conflict detected — your theme or another plugin is adding a meta itemprop=”description” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

The errors are being created by a conflict with my “All In One SEO Pack” plugin. How do I solve this issue? I’m not sure how to shut-off the HTML tag from either the SEO plugin or NGFB plugin, itself.

Also, out of curiosity, how do these conflicts effect the performance of my website?

    Thanks!

No effect on performance, but some crawlers (Facebook notably) will reject the information from your page if there are errors – which include duplicates of some/most meta tags.

If you disable All In One SEO Pack and the error goes away, then yes, it’s probably a simple setting change in AIO SEO. If the error remains, then it’s probably from your theme, and probably in your header.php template file.
