Possible cron issue?

  • I recently downloaded your plugin to test it out. It seems to work great, with one glitch. I set my birthday to a few days from now, so I could receive a birthday coupon by email. I ended up getting 20 emails, each with a unique coupon code.

    Any idea why that’s happening, or what I should do to fix it? Obviously, I don’t want it sending 20 slightly different coupons to each customer on their birthday. It should only send one email with one unique coupon code.

    I’m using the most up-to-date versions:
    – Birthday Discount Vouchers v1.0.2
    – WooCommerce v3.7.1
    – WordPress v5.2.4

    I also tried deactivating and re-activating your plugin, but the issue persists.

    Really sorry for the late response. Can you tell us are you any cron job? The email what you are telling triggered 20 emails was to the same users or it was for different emails?

    I’m not personally doing any special cron jobs, but it’s possible WordPress or some other plugin may be… I’m not tech-savvy enough to know for sure.

    And that’s correct. It sent 20 separate emails (each with a unique coupon code) to the SAME user.

    The birthday discount vouchers were sent at the correct time/date. But it sent multiple emails to the same user when it did.
