• Hi all. My site has many individual blog posts, in several different categories. Each blog post can be viewed in-full on its dedicated page [ redundant link removed ]. But in addition, each blog post can also be viewed in-full on the archive page for whatever categories are assigned to it [ redundant link removed ]. Does WordPress do anything by default to prevent search engines from classifying this as duplicate content? If not, what is best practice in terms of preventing that?

Specifying a canonical URL doesn’t seem to be applicable here.

One option I’ve already considered is to noindex the category archive pages.

    Thanks in advance.

@jdembowski You removed both links in my post. It would have been nice to receive a notification that my post was edited. Removing the links makes it difficult for people to understand my question ??

Furthermore, your reason was, “Don’t add links in the post, just use the link field.” Am I able to add multiple links to the link field? If not, how can I specify more than one link if I can’t add a link to the post? I would like to know the answer so I don’t break any rules in the future.

    Thanks.
