    I think that I’ve found a problem.

All the way through when posting content, all of the values in the SEO analysis on each post or page are green.

However adding a video via FV Player has a detrimental effect of turning the ‘Focus Keyphrase in Image Attributes’ from green to red, with AIOSEO insisting that I’ve got to now add an image with the focus keyphrase – which doesn’t work with an FV Player video on the page – but before the video was added, AIOSEO was quite happy.

    Is this a known bug?

    Hey @deeveearr,

I was unable to reproduce the issue you mentioned. Could you please provide the exact steps you followed so that I can try this on my end? Could you also please share the URL of the Page where you are facing this issue so that I can check the content?

    Hi @shivamtyagi

First, install AIOSEO on a WordPress website.

Then compose a new post, and add a featured image with the focus keyphrase as alt text.

Check the AIOSEO settings and confirm that there are no problems with the ‘focus keyphrase in image attributes’ setting.

    Download FV Player from HERE

Add a video to your post – I use Dropbox and change the last part from ‘dl=0’ to ‘raw=1’ so that there are no issues.

Add a splash image to your video and save.

You will now find that your ‘focus keyphrase in image attributes’ has changed from green to red.

Apparently, it’s not just FV Player that produces this problem, it’s any plugin that uses images to produce its content.

The same thing happens when using ‘Visual Link Preview’ on a post with or without a video.

    Hi @deeveearr,

I tried following the exact steps you mentioned but everything seems to be working fine on my end. Would you mind sharing the URL of the Page where you are facing this issue so that I can take a look? Can you please check and let me know if you’re using the latest version of All in One SEO?

Are you facing the same issue with a default theme when all the plugins except All in One SEO and FV Player are disabled?

You can check this using Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin by following these steps –

    1. Go to Plugins > Add New and install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click on Troubleshoot below the All in One SEO plugin.
    3. This will temporarily disable all the plugins and switch to a default theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
    4. Click on Enable while Troubleshooting below FV Player.
    5. Check to see if you’re able to reproduce the problem.
    6. If not, activate your theme and check again.
    7. If you’re still unable to replicate the issue, activate the plugins one by one and simultaneously check if the issue occurs.
    8. Once you’re done troubleshooting, deactivate and delete the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

Please let me know what you find.

    Hi @shivamtyagi

We’ll try the source code thing before disabling themes and plugins.

The website is NSFW but I’ll give you the least NSFW page to examine, which has both FV Player and a ‘Visual Link Preview’ on the page.

    The page is HERE

I can’t see me needing to disable things with Health Check, and there are no errors when using Yoast, or SEOPress, or SEOFramework – the error is purely peculiar to AIOSEO.

I also thought I’d check the website using the Health Check and Troubleshooting Mode plugin.

All bullet points from 1 through 7 were applied and the ‘focus keyphrase in image attributes’ still showed as red instead of green in the post mentioned above.

    Therefore, it’s an AIOSEO fault.

Going to bullet point 8 right now.

*EDIT* Deactivated and deleted Health Check.

    Hi @deeveearr,

I was unable to reproduce this issue on my end. Unfortunately, we can’t provide support for this site since support for NSFW sites is against our policy.

    Hi @shivamtyagi

Good job I didn’t get the pro version then, isn’t it?

No problemo, I’ll go back to Yoast for now.

    Bye!
