Possible to add php to Byline Template (HTML)

    My Secondary Titles are not showing up at all. I’ve tried to add to the Byline Template (HTML) both of the following code, with and without % brackets.

    %<?php echo get_secondary_title(); ?>%
% <?php the_secondary_title(); ?>%

    But no success. When I add the %, just the “%%” prints out.

    Please instruct. Can one add php to the template? If not, is there a solution to getting secondary title to show up?

    Hello, would you please respond? We’re stuck with this item and can’t use your plugin without being able to display Secondary Title data.

    If not possible to put in byline Template, please kindly provide instructions which php file to alter.
