possible to add slider to homepage?

I am using a child theme from Ward.

Is it possible to ad a slider element to the homepage gracefully?

I’d say I have no programming skills – I’m a “snippet” implementer.

The people in charge are asking if one can be added to this site:

We are a non-profit/NGO with very limited resources.
