Possible to change indicator image?

    Yes there is.
    In the WordPress Admin Menu under Setting->Unread Posts you can set an URL for read / unread posts

    works perfect!! Thank you again. Question resolved.

    The image path doesn’t seem to work for me – I’m using a URL to an image in my media library. Perhaps I have something incorrect in how that path is entered? Or in the image itself?

    Never mind. I changed the image to png and everything seems fine.

    excellent I was about to ask this, before I figure out what icon to use, is there a size limit on the icon, or will the site resize it to fit?

    By size I mean pixels rather than kb.

    Do you have to use the site’s full path or can you use a relative path?
