Possible to Create Audio Playlist with outside mp3 files in WP3.9?

I love the new audio & video playlists, but have most of my audio files stored on Amazon s3 to reduce the burden on my server. Is there a way to use the playlist shortcode with an outside URL?

I’ve tried this on a whim, but no beuno
