Possible to delay autoplay until visible on screen?

Great question, this would be a JavaScript question and it’s not my strong suit. That said, I would suggest using the API filters to modify the JavaScript to be delayed as you want. I’d be looking at JavaScript coding examples that delay loading images and customize that for the testimonials widget.

but I’m too uninformed on ways to modify these examples to my situation.

I also tried the lazy load plugin, but that seems more geared toward images.

Great plugin! I only recently found it and am planning to add it to my personal site.

Those references would probably be a good start. Why don’t you add your feature request at https://github.com/michael-cannon/testimonials-widget/issues/new. Maybe another person will find interest and develop it.
