Possible to delete the blog/authors from the fediverse?

I have disabled both the blog and any authors, removed followers and uninstalled the plugin.

However, my blog keeps getting flooded with requests from Mastodon.

Is there a way to stop this, besides blocking mastodon completely at the server level?
