Possible to display different posts for different users?

    Hi,

    What I would like to do is display different posts for different users. For example, if I have two categories of posts—sports and politics—users can select during the sign-up process whether they want sports or politics or both. When logged in they will only be shown stories based on their selection here. Is anything like this possible?
