• Hi,

I want to only apply the filter to a certain category. I can create a product archive on a separate page, but when I select a category in it, the filter stop working.

Is it possible to give a filter a default value, and then hide the filter with css? So that I use the product archive, but it automatically, through the filter hidden with css, only shows one category?

    Thanks!

    Another question:

I’m using salient on the page. When I select the first filter, the other filters dissapear. What could be causing this? It happens even if I’m using the filters on the shop page.

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

The simplest way is to use WooCommerce category. This way filter’s values will reflect category selection.

“Is it possible to give a filter a default value, and then hide the filter with css?” – almost. You need to open a page with filter set already eg www.ads-software.com?filters=product_cat[16]
For this you need to turn on SEO urls option on the plugin settings page tab SEO.

Okey, thank you. It would be great if it was possible to add a filter for a category without showing it in the url, but I understand that you can’t get everything from a free plugin :).

However, the second question of mine, have you any ideas what could be causing this?

When you first go to the shop page, all 3 filters in the group is visible. When you select the first filter the other 2 disappears?

    Thanks!

Please provide your site url where I can see the issue.
