    Hi,

Is it possible to stop the additional “frequently bought together” products from displaying in the results on the WordPress search page?

For certain search queries, it makes the search page very long as we use the plugin to display recommended accessories for the main product.

I am using the “Above add to cart button” position for additional products, and I am currently using the Beaver Builder child theme, but when I preview the official Storefront theme, the same behaviour occurs.

    Kindest Regards,
    Josiah

There may be a way around this with PHP, but in the meantime I’ve gotten around this by changing it from “Above add to cart button” to “Under the price” as they are effectively in the same place in our theme.

For the default product template included in the Beaver Builder theme, this worked fine. However for products which had a custom themer layout, they weren’t appearing properly. I got around this by adding the “woobt” shortcode to the layout, as this displays the product table as expected. There is also an identical shortcode called “woobt_items” that appears to do the same.

Would there be any issue you can see with using the “woobt” or “woobt_items” shortcodes on the front end, or are they intended for users to aid in implementing the plugin into their layout / theme?

    Thanks for your information, @josiahw93.

I’ll deliver your question to our developer and will keep you posted when there is any response from them.

    Best regards.

    Hi @josiahw93,

Yes, we’re using both shortcodes [woobt] and [woobt_items] to show the associated products list.

You can use one of these shortcodes without any issue. We’re preparing the document for this plugin and it’s incomplete ??
