Possible to hide zero?

I’m testing out this plugin on a staging site and I quite like it, except for the fact that it shows “0 items” when the cart is empty.

I want the cart to show in the menu when empty, but with no extra text–so it just shows as the icon.

Is there a way I can filter out the text for 0 items?
