• Hello,

I am wondering, that there was no response to this topic.

I was a little bit confused when seeing the unpaid PayPal orders in the backend.
It seems that some customers want to order via PayPal (or Credit Card / Debit) and click on the “Pay Now / Go To PayPal” Button. They are redirected to the PayPal site to login or enter their banking account data, but they don’t (even not cancel via the small “cancel and go back to the store” link at the bottom of the page).
These orders are stored in the backend as “pending”, but neither the customer nor the admin gets an email.

Is there really no function in WooCommerce that also provides for this situation, when a customer orders something via PayPal, but doesn’t pay directly?

When the customer wants to pay later, it’s only possible via the shop account – when not ordered as guest?

I think that this is a bad user experience, because it can be intended to not pay yet, but also unintended, e.g. because of a browser crash. Therefore the customer should get an email, when not paid via a direct payment medthod like PayPal, after X minutes or days.
