Possible to override pending_activation action message?

  • Hi,

    As per the title, is there a filter to override the current pending_activation message Your registration was successful but you must now confirm your email address before you can log in. Please check your email and click on the link provided. – I need to add an email address and some other things in there. It’s in /modules/user_moderation/user_moderation.php on line 202

    No, unfortunately, there is no filter.

    OK thanks, what would be the best way of me changing this text myself do you think? I could change the relevant PHP file in the plugin but that’s never a long term solution, what about branching the plugin to my own repo? Or are there any plans to provide control over these messages in a future release maybe?

    Well, one of the simplest ways would be to use POEdit and create your own English translation.
