I had authenticator codes set up in the phone app for two users on each of two sites. I had to factory reset my phone but did a full backup. That restored the app but not the authenticator IDs. I can only get at my Google one, not the ones for my WordPress sites. For them it says I have to capture the barcode but I can’t see any way in WordPress to see that again.

Can you tell me if it’s possible, or do I just have to remove the plugin and install it again?

    Thanks

I should have mentioned I can’t get into my site via the normal logon as I can’t get an authenticator code, but I can go in via wordpress.com and disable the plugin (or remove it if necessary)

    Same here.
changed to a new iPhone and have to scan the barcode again or input the details manually, but do not find either of them in the Plugin-Settings of my wordpress space.
    Please advice, thank you!

Hey guys. Sorry for being late. You can always see the QR code by going into your WordPress user profile, scrolling down to the WP Google Authenticator section and clicking the QR code button.

If you can’t use the 2FA code to login, the only solution is to use the backup code which you should have saved in a safe place ??

Finally, for the very reason you’re discussing, I would recommend using Authy instead of Google Authenticator because Authy will re-sync your codes after a phone reset.
