Possible to show featured image/excerpt for links to WooCommerce products?

  • I love your plugin! It makes my links in comment text look so pretty. Thank you!

    When I link to my WooCommerce products, the “Autoembed links in comment text?” only shows the page title, no featured image or excerpt text.

    You can see in the example link I shared, the second link just says “Fair-Isle Knitting” while the third link (a page) looks beautiful with title, featured image, and excerpt text.

    I would really appreciate my product previews looking this good as well.

    Hello @liatmgat,

    I’m sorry to be late with the reply and I’m glad that the plugin was useful for you.

    DCO Comment Attachment does not embed links, it only applies standard WordPress embedding for the comment text.

    I activated the Twenty Twenty-One theme (v1.1), WooCommerce plugin (v4.8.0) and DCO Comment Attachment v2.1.0 on a test install (WP 5.6) and got this result.

    It seems that link embedding depends on the theme used on the site and you should probably try asking your theme developer about this.
