Possible to specify 'notify author of the post' instead of role?

    I’m sorry if this has been asked, but is it possible to notify the author of the post rather than a particular user or role? For example, if Joe writes a post and someone comments on it, I want him to get a notification and no one else. If Mary writes a different post and someone comments on it, I want her to get a notification and no one else.

    Hope it becomes an integrated feature in the future!

    @sjf: I’m sorry to leave you hanging and to provide you with an unsatisfactory answer but we just stopped using comments ahah. I DID find a workaround when we were going the comments route in these support forums, so search the threads. Sorry for such a shitty answer but I can’t quite recall.
