Possible to trigger cache reload of specific pages on update?

Thanks for the reply – I am *almost* there now … My issue is that one of the pages I need to clear the cache for is an archive page (and so it doesn’t have an ID). Is there any way to clear the archive cache specifically? (I really don’t want to go down the route of having to clear the entire site cache because of 1 page)

I have tested this by specifically clearing the cache of several posts, but the archive page cache is not cleared.

the permalink of archive page should be like /2022/03/
what archive page are you talking about? is the cache of tag/category cleared?

This is a custom built theme I have inherited with an archive-jetty.php template for that page. Permalinks are set to a custom structure and the ‘jetties’ type post is a custom post.

Damn … thanks for the reply though. I may consider refactoring this in time if it proves to be an issue. Meanwhile I think excluding archives from the cache is the ‘best’ short term option for me. Thanks for the help though!
