Possible Workaround for WordPress 5.8 and Woocommerce 5.6.0

I’ve got it run with WordPress 5.8 and Woocommerce 5.6.0

For our small shop it works as we need it – as far as I can tell today. I haven’t tested all possible situations and hope it works in the productive environment.

I hope this Plugin will resumed for development one day and this workaround does its job until then. ??

STEPS

I used this version of the plugin: https://github.com/mike-bricknell-barlow/woocommerce-coupons-pay-for-shipping
1. Click green “Code” button and “Download ZIP”
2. WordPress > Plugins > Add new > Upload Plugin > Chose the ZIP and Upload
3. Activate Plugin

Refering to the paypal issues, mentioned in this forum, I deactivated this payment method for coupons:
1. Install and Activate https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-auto-added-coupons/ “WooCommerce Extended Coupon Features FREE”
2. Marketing > Coupons > open coupon > Checkout > Payment methods: Add every payment method except paypal.
3. Step 2 needs to be done for every coupon
