    1) I cant seem to edit any themes through the wordpress appearance editor. Even the simple things like background color or header image. I’ve read many of these forums and read WordPress for dummines … Im pretty sure I understand the concept of modifying the css. I did discover I can edit the background color through the bluehost editor, but still not change the header image. I uploaded the image to what i think is the correct folder and changed the name of the image in the css styles editor. ( i modified the same header image in photoshop, so i know its the correct size).
Here is a link to the site https://www.southern-bu-blog.com/
username: southernbu password: (Pioneer2010) … sorry about the password.

    2) I cant seem to change the date from anything but February 15th, even after updating the date settings.

Please dont get pissed if I posted this in the wrong area.

any suggestions ? I still havent solved this problem.

Your site is password protected so we can’t properly check it. One thing you should do is re-upload all of your core WordPress files.

If something is broken in a core file, then a lot of things may not work.

Also be sure to disable all plugins and switch your theme to the twentyten theme. Have the plugins and themes changed at the same time in case their attempt to work with each other may be what is breaking it.
