Post and Page edit pages have broken layouts

Hi, Our Post and Page edit pages layouts broke today. It only happens at the level you edit a post or a page, but when you go into a post or page to make an edit the left-side menu bar is moved to the middle of the screen splitting and squashing all the modules on the edit page.

If you inspect the page formatting and look at div id adminmenuwrap, there is a style setting of width: 375px; if you turn that setting off much of the page goes back to the normal layout, although there are a lot of other weird formatting problems that still exist.

Can anyone give me a hint as to where to look to find the problem?

I have reinstalled WordPress twice with no effect on the problem.
