Is there a way to show post pages over 100? Because I have 800 posts pages articles need to show on my blog page.

I am using post and grid block but the max settings is only 100

    Hey Jeff,

800 posts/pages is a lot to load in a single page-load. That can greatly slow down your initial load time (and in turn your google ranking). That can also force users to download a lot of content they might not even see (if they don’t scroll that far).

I would recommend looking into something like infinite scroll, which is how sites like facebook/instagram deal with loading millions of items without killing the initial load time, or bogging users down with unexpected data usage.

Unfortunately there isn’t any infinite scroll support in the post/page grid block in genesis blocks at this time, so you’d need to look elsewhere for that.

Another good approach might be to link to your theme’s blog page at the bottom of the grid, and only show about 10 posts/pages in the grid.

It looks like you actually already have an infinite scroll solution set up there. For example:

    https://staging.homesecuritystore.com/category/home-safety

Where it says “Load more posts” at the bottom. That’s the type of solution I recommend here. So perhaps just add a link on your homepage below the postgrid, linking to a page like that, but that shows all of your posts, perhaps all in a single category.

    Hey Jeff,

Like I mentioned though, that would absolutely destroy your Google ranking, to load 800 posts on a single page load.

    Try this,

Add all 800 of your posts into a new category called “Blog”. Then, go to “Dashboard” > “Posts” > “Categories”. You should see that “blog” category listed there. When you hover over it, there should be a link to “view” the category.

    Click on that.

That will give you the URL to view the category, and you can add that to your menu, or make a link on your homepage to it.
